Background Information
The HydroLaunch control is equipped with the following features:
1. Remote control
2. Push button control panel
3. Manual and automatic UP and DOWN control
4. Auxiliary circuit with timer function
5. Ground fault circuitry
6. Leak detection with auto correction
7. Programmable board feature
While the HydroLaunch control system was originally designed to accommodate the HydroHoist series of boatlifts up to
8800 lbs, the HydroLaunch is capable of operating most boat lifts which are intended to be controlled with one air valve.
This control is not suited for applications that require multi-valve air control.
Remote Transmitter Operation
Note: The remote transmitter is not capable of programming any custom settings.
To raise the lift automatically, simply press and release the UP button . The lift will raise until maximum height is
achieved and then automatically shut off.
To lower the lift automatically, simply press and release the DOWN button . The lift will lower itself until maximum
depth is achieved. The valve will automatically close after 10 minutes and the control will return to OFF mode.
To automatically raise or lower the lift to board position, simply press the BOARD button . The lift will automatically
seek the set board position.
Pressing any button while the lift is operating will immediately return the control to OFF mode.
Pressing UP and DOWN at the same time will activate the auxiliary feature. @ 250Volts (2500 Watts).
Control Panel Operation
To raise the lift automatically, simply press and release the button. The lift will raise until maximum height is
achieved and then automatically turn off.
To raise the lift manually, simply press and hold the button. The lift will raise until your finger is removed from the
button. Once your finger is removed from the button, the control will return to OFF mode.
To lower the lift automatically, simply press and release the button. The lift will lower itself until maximum depth is
achieved. The valve will automatically close after 10 minutes and the control will return to OFF mode.
To lower the lift manually, simply press and hold the button. The lift will lower until your finger is removed from the
button. Once your finger is removed from the button, the control will return to OFF mode.
To move the lift to board position, simply press the button. The lift will automatically seek the set board position and
then automatically shut off.
Programmable Board Height
To change the factory set board position, manually position the boat to the proffered height. Once the preferred height is
achieved, simply hold down the board button on the panel for five seconds. You will see the light flash indicating that a
new board position has now been set.
Monitor Mode
The lift will automatically go into monitor mode only after it has cycled through the UP mode and automatically shut itself
off. If a leak should occur and the lift drops approximately 8" in height, the control will go into UP mode and will automatically
shut off at full capacity. While in monitor mode, the light will continually blink.
Auxiliary Feature
The auxiliary feature will allow your HydroLaunch to turn external components (such as dock lights) on and off automatically.
Pressing once will activate a 10 minute timer. Pressing this button continuously for 5 seconds will turn the circuit on
indefinitely or until the button is pressed again. This circuit is ONLY a switching circuit meaning NO voltage is supplied.
This auxiliary circuit is rated for 15 amps @ 120 volts and should only be wired by a qualified licensed electrician. The
two wires can be accessed inside of the main housing and will be labelled AUXILIARY CIRCUIT.
To Lift Boat
1. Position boat over lift and attach guide ropes to rear cleats of boat
2. Press and release the UP button.
3. Gently push back or pull on the boat until the guide ropes are taut and the bow is centered over the lift.
4. Release the boat when the lift contacts the hull and the boat is no longer floating freely.
5. When air bubbles appear at the rear of the tanks, the unit will detect full capacity and automatically turn off. After auto
shut-off occurs, the lift will go to monitor mode.
Note: During operation, pressing any button will return the unit to OFF mode.
To Launch/Lower Boat
