Take time to fill out this simple form today and put us to work for you!

Q.  How do I store my lift for the winter?
A.  You can leave your boat on the hoist during winter if you desire. Stationary ice will not damage the lift if it is up.

Simply raise the lift out of the water like you would normally.
Once the lift is raised, tie the hoses up so that they do not hang down into the water. The object is to keep water from freezing around your hoses during the cold weather.

That's it! Your lift is secured for the winter.

Q.  How many Amps / Watts does the motor draw?
A.  A single motor control will use:
1252 Watts
10.6 Amps
***Double these values if you have a 2 motor control.

Max suction = 110.44" water
Max airflow = 103.49 CFM

Q.  What size of generator is required to power the lift?
A.  Lifts 9000 lb. capacity or less has a single blower control and be operated with a 1500-watt generator. Lifts with a greater capacity have two blowers and will require a minimum of a 3000-watt generator.

Q.  Can I buy directly from HydroHoist?
A.

HydroHoist products are available through our Factory Owned Distribution Centers as well as extensive authorized Dealer Network.  As you know, lakes are notorious for being different.  Some rise and fall several feet each year.  Some freeze early.  Some never freeze.  A local representative can assess your lift needs with these conditions in mind.  If your lift becomes damaged or is in need of service your factory representative or dealer can repair the lift quickly and easily.  Marinas have their own requirements on what can be installed on their docks.
For a list of our Factory Owned Distribution Centers  and Authorized Dealers we have a searchable database located at: Dealer Search.

Q.  Can I move my lift?
A.  In some cases the same mooring components are used for both fixed and floating dock applications. Water level fluctuation, dock freeboard and dealer preference determine the mooring system used.

Contact your local dealer for help determining what will be necessary to make your move.

Q.  Are remote controls available?
A.

Yes!  The HydroLaunch is the ultimate in convenient operation of your hoist.  Raise or lower your lift from 500 feet away.  Designed for the UltraLift-2 series up to 8,800 pounds.

Q.  Can I install the lift myself?
A.  HydroHoist products should only be installed by trained factory authorized personnel.  The use of unauthorized installation personnel will void the factory warranty.

Q.  Is there an Operating Manual for my Lift?
A.  You bet. This manual covers the operation of all the lifts and can be downloaded from any of the boatlift product sections listed on our site.

Q.  Can I increase the capacity of my lift?
A.  Most lifts can be upgraded in capacity. Ask your dealer whether this is an option for your lift.
