HHTX SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCED FOR MARINE ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS

HydroHoist® Marine Group Inc. announces Garrett Taurus, as the 2016 college scholarship recipient for the Marina Association of Texas.

Garrett is the son of Edward and Velvet Taurus of Cedar Park, TX. He has been an employee at Lakeway Marina on Lake Travis in Austin, TX for several years and is attending St. Edwards University in Austin majoring in Biology.
“HydroHoist®, LLC takes great pride in offering scholarships for organizations like MAT. We view this as having long-term benefit to the people that support us and our industry,” said Mick Webber, HydroHoist President and CEO.
For over 20 years, HydroHoist has provided scholarships in the amount of $1,000 ($500 per semester) for employees and children of marina and business members in good standing with Marina Association of Texas. Leadership, grade point average, community involvement and extracurricular activity involvement are all factors in the award decision.
